State Privacy Rights
Last updated: 2026-08-23
US state privacy laws — the CCPA/CPRA in California, and comparable statutes in Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah and elsewhere — require specific disclosures. Those are set out here, supplementing our Privacy Policy.
On Sale and Sharing
No sale for monetary consideration takes place. Where ads run, though, cookie and advertising identifiers may be shared with ad partners — conduct that CCPA/CPRA and equivalent laws may treat as a ‘sale’ or as ‘sharing’. Opt out at Do Not Sell or Share My Information. Minors under 16 are not knowingly included.
Your Options
Rights available include access — knowing what is held and why — correcting inaccuracies, requesting deletion, receiving a portable copy, and the right to opt out of sale, sharing, and targeted advertising. Where state law provides an appeal against a denied request, that is open to you too. Using these rights costs you nothing and changes nothing about the service you receive.
What Categories Apply
Categories involved: identifiers — IP address, cookie IDs, device identifiers; internet activity — browsing on this site, referrers, timing; and contact details, but only if you volunteered them. These come from your device directly and from analytics or advertising partners where such partners are engaged.
Making a Request
Two routes. For an opt-out: turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser, which we honour automatically. For anything else — access, correction, deletion, portability — email hello@shoesupportguide.com. Verification is by reply to the originating address, responses come within the time state law sets, and an authorised agent may submit on your behalf with written permission.
